How can I make my Copilot for Word be less imaginative?

Copper Contributor

I have a dvi.doc file containing table with students' entrance exams' results (names + scored points). I ask Copilot for Word a prompt "Analyze /dvi.doc". And then copilot creates a report where along with actual data from my file it pretends to use imaginary source files I never heard of (dvi.xls with qualification exams' results of the same persons, exam.doc with scores split by subjects etc). Altogether it makes a complete mess. What shall I do to just have my original doc file analyzed in a reliable way?

Did you try instructing it to solely use that file for reference?
Yes. It always invents something.
For instance, if I use prompt "Analyze table inside DVI.pdf and provide insights on the data. Don’t use other source files for analyses" the copilot might add
"The table also contains the names of the students, which can be used to analyze the frequency of names. The most common name is Maria, with 27 students (2.8%) having this name. The top 10 most frequent names are ..."
I checked these names, they are all wrong...
Eek not really sure. Definitely put a thumbs down on the feedback for that response.
May it be that Copilot for Word is not supposed to be used for numerical analysis but just for a story telling based on my data?
