Disable copilot in Teams meeting

Copper Contributor

I'm attending a online partner event host by Microsoft. While I want to use copilot to summarize the meeting, it shows "you don't have permission to access the content".

How to set this when I create a Teams meeting? Sometimes we don't want menber only attend meeting via Copilot.

Thanks!

So there's two reasons you're getting that error,  First is that the Recording isn't shared with you yet. Which is normal when attending Microsoft Partner events, those recording needs to be shared first.

It can also be you're in a location that does not support copilot in teams meeting, such as China.

If you want to disable, you can find it under meetings option:
