Using Chrome OS with MS Word, Excel, Teams. Screens starts to blink

I am using a Chromebook

When I start MS Word or Excel or Teams after a minute my screen starts to blink for a second several times per minute

Does anyone have experienced this too here? on another community for Chrome users, I found more similar experiences

It seems to be related to the MS apps, is anybody from MS support willing to test this and verify?

i also get this issue if you manage to find a solution i would love to know how i am tempted to send my device back.
