Outlook 2016 crashes when opening Inbox for 1 of my accounts - after recent Office update

Copper Contributor

Since a few days ago, and the latest Office update, Outlook crashes always when it opens the Inbox of one of my 8 accounts. Happens every time :(

I can open sub-folders in that account, but not the Inbox itself.

Have tried deleting and adding the account, have tried creating a new Outlook Profile, and re-adding all my accounts again, but all that did was move the problem to another account. All other 7 accounts work fine, except for 1.

The account concerned is an Office 365 account. In my original Profile I had the exact same problem for an Outlook.Com account.

This is a real issue for me !

Anyone else having same problem or can offer any advice?

Try increasing the size limit for both (.pst) and (.ost) files in Outlook.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/832925/how-to-configure-the-size-limit-for-both-pst-and-ost...

Take note that the Warning size should be the 95% of the MaxLargeFileSize value you entered before.
For example: If you entered the value “81920” at MaxLargeFileSize, then the WarnLargeFileSize value should be: 81920 X 95% = 77824.

@jnelso disable microsoft teams add-in - worked for me.

@DeanEEC - Thank you, I had the same issue and that solved it for me.

Disabling Microsoft Teams also solved by inbox problem.

BUT I would like to make calendar invitations with Teams link added.

Hopefully fix for teams add-in is on the way.
