OneNote...Send to Blog

I'm wanting to register my Word Press blog with Microsoft Word so that I can use the Send To Blog function with OneNote.  However when I try to register my blog I get an error message.  I have double checked the password, the unsername, and the URL.  What am I missing???

It could be all kind of issues depending on where you host your blog or even to antivirus application or add blockers

It's a Wordpress Blog...which should be supported. Do you have any ideas for troubleshooting?

Could you checkout if you can reach this url  http://example.com/blog/xmlrpc.php with your domain where example stands?

I once composed this blog post in OneNote about composing a blog post in OneNote ;) Is this also how you are doing it? I haven't checked since if anything has broken, but maybe it's helpful anyway:
