I am simply looking for clarification on these two edge licensing cases so I can point people to the right information when I get asked.
Scenario 1
Office 365 Business license. Office Business installed on a Windows 10 desktop. Can the same user who work on this Windows 10 desktop remotely access the desktop, say via RDP, and legally use Office Business that is installed there remotely? Again, we are talking Office Business here NOT Office ProPlus.
Scenario 2
Office 365 Business license. Office Business installed on a Windows 10 desktop. User one (with Office 365 Business license) uses machine on Monday then logs out. User two (with Office 365 Business license) uses machine on Tuesday the logs out. Is Office Business being used in a compliant way here?
I'd like to see the exact reference that covers these scenarios somewhere in MS documentation so I can refer people who ask.
