Login in Yosemite 10.10.2 stuck at 'logging in'

I need to run OneNote on a older Mac Pro with OSX Yosemite (10.10.2) for some recording software I can't upgrade. Recently I had to reformat the computer with a fresh version of the OSX and everything is great except for OneNote. Before this reformatting OneNote worked fine in this version of the OSX. But since the install the only version I could find, that's supposedly compatible with Yosmite, I'm not able to login. After asking for the password it stays stuck in the "logging in" window.

Is there some place online where I can download an older version of OneNote than the only one available from Microsoft and Apple? Maybe there's some hidden files, choking it up that can be deleted?

I've already deleted O.N. and reinstalled. Same thing happens.

For this particular computer upgrading the OSX IS NOT an option.
