How to disable Office 365 Pro Plus notifications in version 1908?
Hi all,
Within our organization we’re upgrading to Office Pro Plus to Version 1908 (Build 11929.20436). As we don't want to bother our users with annoying notifications such as simplified ribbon or tighter spacing, we're using Group Policy Objects (latest Office16.admx) to suppress such notifications . We've tried many settings or registry keys but without success.
The notification will appear after every Outlook start or when creating, for example new e-mails in Outlook. Any idea on how to suppress/disable notifications (simplified ribbon or tighter spacing) in Office 365?
Settings within Office16.admx:
-Hide option to enable or display updates
-Hide update notifications
-Disable Opt-in Wizard on first run
-Turn off Coming Soon
-Don't show the What's New information for Outlook (also other Office applications)
-Show Screen Tips (Don't show screentips)
-Do not show ScreenTips on toolbars
Settings within outlk16.admx:
-Disable preview place
To get an idea about the notifications, I've added the notifications as an attachment to this conversation.

My guess is that you're looking for the "Office What's New management", which can be found in the 365 Admin Center. Thas been made generally available from 20-2-2020.
See the links below for more info:

Hi Victor_Ivanidze,
Thanks for your reply on this discussion. Yes I've tried to disable the 'disalbe preview place' unfortunately without success.

Hi mhilboe852.
you can try to create a customized flow (using Microsoft Power Automate) to get what you want.
