How do I stop page scrolling while writing? Palm rejection error using Pixelbook Pen with Chrome OS

I'm using a Google Pixel Slate / Google Pixelbook Pen. When writing notes with the pen, palm rejection does not seem to work. The page scrolls left / right / up / down as I'm writing notes, and I cannot hold the page in place. Is there a way to limit page movement?

I am facing the same problem with my Lenovo Ideapad Duet + HP USI Pen combination. Would like to know how to resolve this issue.
