Hi,
due to the recent developments in the monitor industry (one monitor attached to a Laptop/PC via USB-C, docking station integrated into the monitor) we are transitioning away from dual monitor setups to single monitor setups in our company.
The window management features integrated into Windows (snap windows to the left/top/right edge etc.) makes this transition easier for our users, as their workflow is tailored towards having two apps visible at the same time (one app on the left side on the monitor, one app on the right side of the monitor).
Apps like Microsoft Edge work flawlessly in conjunction with the window management features of Windows, as the app remembers its last position (for example, snapped to the right side of the monitor).
M365 apps can also be snapped into place, however, they dont remember this exact placement after the app is closed. Right now, you have to position the M365 app manually to roughly fit for example the right side of the monitor, as it remembers this setting, but it doesnt remember it when it was snapped to the right side of the monitor with the window management features of Windows. This is weird behaviour and reduces the acceptance of modern work environments.
It would be great if this could be adressed in a future update of M365.
