Unable to Communicate with External Contacts in a Shared Mailbox

I successfully created a shared mailbox via the Exchange admin center. Subsequently, I waited 60 minutes for the mailbox to propagate, per the instructions, and attempted to send an external message.  The account receives internal messages successfully. Unfortunately, several different external domains are not working. I mirrored the settings for another account that is working too. Any ideas?
