Hello,
Is it possible to hide unlicensed users from searches across the M365 suite? We have ex-employees that are still active in the user admin as unlicensed. We can't delete them because their mailbox has been converted to shared, so that multiple employees can access the content.
I found this, but not sure it applies to other apps. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/hide-generic-unlicensed-users-from-ms-teams/m...
If MS is going to keep unlicensed users in searches, it seems like a reasonable request
Thanks,
Mike

SolutionYou can hide them from some workloads, not all. For teams, you can disable the account - a shared mailbox isn't affected by that, and it will result in effectively "hiding" the user in teams.
