Unable to Preview mesh solution on Meta Quest 3 in Unity Play mode

My solution is able to be deployed to mesh and played on a meta quest 3 via the mesh app in the headset.


But what if i dont want to spend all that time deploying to mesh cloud just to test small changes.
Can i iterate with Unity Play mode playing on the headset itself?

 

When i connect the headset to my PC with airlink or the linkcable and press play on unity
i can see a still of my environment but no headtracking

 

what are all the steps i need to get it working?

Interaction Profiles?
Occulus SDK from unity package manager?
Toggle OpenXR Occulus runtime somewhere on the PC ( how? )
what about the Rig?

anything else im missing?

Im ok with having multiple rigs i can enable or disable depending on where its running
UNity Play Mode to Meta Quest
Unity Play Mode with Keyboard and mouse
In mesh itself.

I dont need to have one rig sounds like that would hurt my brain to mash everything together so it works in all three places at this point in my newb journey.
