Hello, you have to check what is the cause of the lags.
Might be the internet connection, in case you are syncing any changes with a one note opened from a sharepoint site...
Might be that the disk of your pc is under heavy load.
Might be that you simply have a lot on One Notes opened.
My One note was lagging to, so what i did was save the One notes on my Organization's One drive and close One notes that i did not utilise.
