Excel IF function Help

I am struggling with the IF function, I have followed the instructions for the function but yet it is returning all "Yes" values to the processing fee category, which is incorrect. The formula is as follows: =IF(G4<"6,000", "Yes", "No") and I have tried =IF(G2<"6,000","Yes",IF(G2>"6,000","No")) and still is not producing the correct results. I am not sure how to fix this as I have tried many variations with the same results. Can you advise?

These are the instructions I am basing it off of If a monthly loan payment is less than $6000, the company would charge a processing fee of $150; otherwise, there would be no processing fee.
