New drivers and samples are now available for the MediaTek MT3620 M4 real-time cores. The MediaTek MT3620 is the first Azure Sphere chip certified by Microsoft. Two developer experiences for the M4 real-time cores on the MT3620 chip are now available:
MediaTek has published drivers and samples for the M4 real-time cores on the MT3620 chip on GitHub.
Codethink, a partner in the Azure Sphere ecosystem, has published drivers and samples for the M4 real-time cores on the MT3620 on GitHub.
Microsoft will continue to publish instructions to get started with the M4 real-time cores on the MT3620, along with some associated samples within the Azure Sphere samples repo. While the samples are not complete drivers, they may be instructive in some scenarios, particularly inter-core communications between the A7 application core and the M4 real-time cores.
Any of these driver sets may be a good fit for your needs. Please share your experience with us in the comments and stay in touch through Tech Community.
