Microsoft Ignite 2020 is over. What a week!

Ignite is a unique opportunity to connect with Microsoft experts and your world-wide community during the event, but the experience doesn't have to stop with the last session!

Most of the content is now available on demand and we have put together a little digest for you to easily find all the IoT related content that was discussed during the event.

We also compiled a list of resources for you to dig deeper into our announcements and learn even more.

Let the learning continue and the conversation going!

IoT content now available on demand

Sam George, CVP Azure IoT, discussed the Azure IoT services, roadmap and vision: from connected assets to connected environments. Catch up all the IoT announcements in a single session.

Following Sam's session we had Ask The Experts sessions to respond all your questions about Azure Digital Twins and IoT Plug and Play.

During his developer keynote, Scott Hanselman invited Tara Walker, Principal Software Engineer in the Azure IoT team, to discuss IoT and interesting use cases particularly relevant in the actual context.

Check out the IoT segment starting at 19:15:

Phil Neray, Director Azure IoT Security Strategy, and Nir Krumer, Principal PM Azure Defender for IoT, presented how Azure Defender for IoT incorporates CyberX technology to deliver agentless security for unmanaged industrial IoT devices in Operational Technology (OT) networks, including asset discovery, vulnerability management, and continuous threat monitoring. In the session, they  show how integration with Azure Sentinel and OT-specific SOAR playbooks enable faster detection and response to multistage attacks that cross IT/OT boundaries, using the TRITON attack on a petrochemical facility as an example.

Cory Newton-Smith, Principal PM Manager Azure IoT, and Pamela Cortez, Senior PM Azure IoT presented how the value in IoT comes from end to end business solutions that connect devices, provide insights and drive informed action. They cover two approaches to building IoT solutions on Azure, including using the IoT Reference Architecture or using IoT Central, Microsoft's industry leading IoT application platform that requires zero cloud solution development skills.

Watch Microsoft Mechanics presenter, Jeremy Chapman, joined by Cory Clarke, VP Product Management at RXR Reality, who highlights how his company is leveraging Azure IoT and AI to reimagine smart office spaces – and how this technology is helping bring their employees back to the workplace.

More learning content

Time to go beyond. If you are new to Azure IoT, we recommend you check out the IoT Learning Collection.

If you are already familiar with Microsoft IoT technologies and services, you can extend your IoT skills going through some of our IoT Learning Path and modules on MS Learn. You will also want to check the latest updates on the IoT Show and Deep Dive series. We compiled a collection of episodes about topics announced and covered during Ignite:

Don't miss any of the upcoming Deep Dive episodes

To come along in your IoT learning journey, we are crafting even more content to dive deeper into our announcements.

Don't miss any by putting these upcoming IoT Deep Dive episodes in your calendar as they will be featured with live Q&A. This way: http://aka.ms/iot/deepdive

Get certified and spread the word

Once you are all ramped up and ready for it, you can then get certified preparing for and taking the  AZ-220 IoT Developer Certification exam.

And why keeping all that knowledge just for you? Take the packaged IoT Event Learning Path to your next meetup or team's hackathon and help others ramp up on IoT!

Let's stay in touch

If you want to stay up to date and in touch with us, we'll be on the IoT Tech Community forums and blog as well as on the IoT Show and Deep Dives series.

Also, do not forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel dedicated to IoT developers to stay posted on latest IoT innovation and technologies, watch interesting and crazy IoT projects, follow along some coding sessions, all of that Engineers to Engineers.
