HOWTO: Load all the symbols in a memory dump using DebugDiag 2.0

Prior to DebugDiag 2.0, we used to follow this blog/script from Puneet Gupta to load the symbols in a memory dump. This script will not work in the new version of DebugDiag 2.0.

I have outlined below a Workflow-based Rule (XAML), created using DebugDiag 2.0 RuleBuilder, to load the symbols for all modules loaded in a memory dump.

Steps to add this XAML rule:

Copy the attached LoadSymbols.xaml into any folder of your choice.

Launch DebugDiag Analysis 2.0 and click the settings button.

Under Rule search paths to load rules from, click the Add icon and point to the folder location where you copied the LoadSymbols.xaml.

You should now see the LoadSymbols.xaml reflecting under Workflow-based Rules in DebugDiag Analysis 2.0.
