@mlandry103 we currently use "Tasks" in Teams...search "Tasks" in the more apps on the left rail (3 dots)...once added, you can create a task that will show up in your task list in Outlook by going to a chat or post message and click on the 3 dots and more actions and create a task....works great for now!
The "Tasks In Teams" is a little different. It is closer to an Asana experience as opposed to the traditional tasks app. Asana is available but some of us would prefer to keep it "in-house" as much as possible.
