Announcing Host Integration Server 2016 Cumulative Update 3

The Microsoft Host Integration Server product team has released Cumulative Update 3 for Host Integration Server 2016.

Cumulative Update 3 contains all functional and security fixes for customer-reported issues in HIS 2016, including those fixes previously released in CU1 through CU2. Also, CU3 includes support for the following new Microsoft and IBM platforms.

• Microsoft Windows Server 2019
• Microsoft SQL Server 2017
• IBM DB2 for z/OS 12
• IBM CICS 5.4
• IBM i 7.3
• IBM MQ 9
• IBM z/OS 2.3

We recommend upgrading to CU3, to remain current on the latest fixes. Please test CU3 prior to deploying into production.
