As we all know Exchange Online PowerShell V3 Module is generally available from September 2022! With the release of 3.0.0 GA, admins can say goodbye to WinRM basic authentication. Integrating all REST-based cmdlets and enabling the use of Exchange Online cmdlets through REST API calls are new module's major accomplishments!
Apart from basic authentication deprecation, the V3 module brings more speed, reliability, and security improvement compared to the previous modules.
Now let's take a closer look at what are all the features the V3 module has to offer.
Too bad the V3 Module is broken. When I connect to Exchange Online, it prompts me for Auth, and when I select my GA account I am not prompted for a Password. then when I try any EXO command it only shows my user mailbox.
