SafeLinks - Reporting an unsafe site

Copper Contributor

Hi,

I'm an IT Security Officer for my workplace and I want to block a specific site from being able to get through SafeLinks. I don't have access to EOP/ATP but I want to learn if this could be done or how it's done so that I may pass this information to the people who have access for our institution.

Alternatively I need to report a site as malicious but quick searching isn't yielding an easy answer to this.

Many thanks,

- lsward

Hi Isward,

Thanks for submitting your question,

Please see here for being able to block specific URL's

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/set-up-a-custom-blocked-urls-list-wtih...

You would report the site to your admin who would add it to the block list. You can also report the malicious site to Microsoft at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/support/report-unsafe-site/

Hope I answered your question. If I have, please like and set this post as the solution! If not, let me know what more you need. I look forward to answering more of your questions in the community.

Best, Chris

That was perfect, thank you for the fast response. Both have now been done and I've learned something new about ATP in the process. Users that received the link should now be protected and we'll be considering how best to proceed going forward.

Great! Glad I could help!

Best, Chris
