re-Subscription edge transport server after Add license

I want to add the license to the edge server (standard Edition) should I re-Subscription the edge transport server after the license is added and what effect do I face if I don't do this or if i do this?

After the trial period, the Exchange admin center (EAC) will start to show reminders that you need to enter a product key to license the server.

Once you enter the product key, there is nothing else to do on an Edge server and the edge sync will continue to work.

You can, however, test the edge sync using test-edgesynchronization.
