Questions on Office 365 Groups archiving

Hi Experts, 

One of our customer raised the below query:

They're basically looking for the way to archive Outlook Shared Inbox (Office 365 group) for i year in Office 365 group mailbox (Shared mailbox) and after 1 year it should be archived in Office 365 cloud mailbox (Archived mailbox) for 7 years.

Is this achievable?

Any pointers would be of great help.

Can you try explaining this again, as I didn't understand what you are trying to achieve here. There is no archive functionality for Office 365 Groups, however you can use retention policies/put them on hold in order to preserve items stored in them.
