Outlook will do a full OST re-synchronization every week

My organization is running hybrid exchange 2016 coexistence with exchange 2010. Outlook client is turn on cached exchange mode. Currently, exchange 2016 mailbox users are facing issue that outlook will do a full OST re-synchronization every week. This is only happen once a week when users opening their outlook on Monday (users going back to work after weekend). It has happened on different outlook versions.


This weird outlook behavior will be causing the high bandwidth utilization and slow email downloading. Recreate OST file or user profile does not fix the issue. We don't see this issue on exchange 2010 mailbox.


Does anyone know about this outlook behavior and how to rectify this issue? Any settings need to be configured on the outlook client or exchange 2016?
