outlook intenal client to exchange mailbox

Hi all ,

can someone tell me the mail flow from the intenal client outlook to the mailbox database ?

does the outlook intenal client (some domaine) create mail on the database directly ???

i know the mail flow on exchange server , but from outlook to the database makes me confused
