On premise Exchange after update to 2019 slow saving drafts in Outlook 2016/2019

Copper Contributor

Hi,

I've upgraded Exchange 2013 to 2019 and everythings seemed fine, but some users (not all, but significant amount) expirienced troubles: when they trying to save a draft of message or create and send a message outside of organization, Outlook window with message became fozen fo a while (15-30 secounds). After that, message sending/saving normally. Somebody can help me with that? What can it be?

We have exactly the same issue.

Outlook seems to almost crash when saving drafts and closing for some users. We ran an update and enabled in place archiving for one user so I wasn’t sure which caused it.

Did you find a solution?
We have the same issue.
Outlook from Office365 with Exchange 2019 on-premise CU9.

Solution
We found a reason. It was because of DLP solution(DeviceLock). Without it all works fine.

@LANselot

What do you mean with DLP solution? Was it an external tool?

Data Leak Prevention, DLP. We are using such system on client's PC and it's settings was too tough.
