MS Teams Chats in OWA

Does anyone know if the feature available to replace the chat option in OWA with MS Teams instead of Skype yet?

I would like to turn off Skype but...looks like you can't chat in OWA using Teams yet- can someone confirm?

The InstantMessagingEnabled parameter specifies whether instant messaging is available in Outlook on the web. Valid values are:

• $true: Instant messaging is available in Outlook on the web. This is the default value.

• $false: Instant messaging isn't available in Outlook on the web.

No, you cannot use Teams in OWA. They haven't announced that they would be adding it either, but with multiwindow coming out maybe that tech will open it up.

@Chris Webb Thanks, Chris!  I saw it in UserVoice still but thought for sure since Skype now has an end date that this must be coming soon or have support.  I appreciate the reply!
