Is there a way to set external senders for an specific alias on Exchange Online?

Brass Contributor

Hi,

I was wondering if I can achieve this in my organization:

Some distribution groups have non-default names to avoid SPAM (e.g. hr@domain.com is hr.domain@domain.com).

Can I set the RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled to an specific alias?

So I can have a default alias that's is only internal and one non-default that it's for external messages.

Nope, it will apply to messages sent to any alias of the DG. If you want to target a specific one, use Transport rules.
