Hybrid DNS Settings

Hello everyone,

one question, I will configure a Hybrid with Exchange 2016, I do not want to change my MX (pointing to my SMTP gateway) so when I will go to Domain settings, in O365 Dashboard, I will validate my domain and I skip the DNS settings?
