How to send an event from an M365 group?

Sorry, this might be a beginner's question. I know how to have a user send an e-mail on behalf or from an M365 group. However, I don't see a way how a user/group member can send an event invite from/on behalf a group. Is this even possible?

Not supported by default afaik, but there's an easy workaround - compose a regular email and attach the invite therein.
