Exchange 2016 Version 15.1 (Build 2106.2) - Outlook 2016
If I set a room calendar default permission like this, users are able to create entries via Outlook / OWA:
Get-MailboxFolderPermission conferenceroom@domain.de:\Calendar
FolderName User AccessRights
---------- ---- ------------
Calendar Default {Author}
Calendar Anonymous {None}
BUT: If I remove the "read: all details" permission like this, users are not longer able to create entries:
Get-MailboxFolderPermission conferenceroom@domain.de:\Calendar
FolderName User AccessRights
---------- ---- ------------
Calendar Default {CreateItems, EditOwnedItems, DeleteOwnedItems, FolderVisible}
Calendar Anonymous {None}
Bug or by design?
I want users to create / edit / delete own entries and to limit read access for other entries to "free / busy, subject location". Any ideas?
