Ignite 2019 – 7 Days and Counting
Published Oct 28 2019 05:00 AM 11.7K Views

Just one week from today Microsoft Ignite 2019 will be underway. That first morning Satya will be getting ready for his keynote, speakers will be worrying about their slides, attendees will already have walked 27,981* steps just to reach where they are going and 216,812* cups of coffee will have been consumed. All of this by 8am.

It’s all very exciting and we’re very much looking forward to meeting and talking to all of those making the trip to Orlando.

But you don’t have to make it all the way there to be involved. ALL the Breakout and Theater sessions are being live-streamed this year. So, if you can’t make it to Orlando you can still listen and watch the sessions LIVE. Plenty of people who are in Orlando do this too by the way, it saves walking and you get a great seat!

This post is to highlight the Exchange related sessions we think you might want to attend or listen to, so here they are, and apologies to anyone who thinks their session should be listed but isn’t (clearly, you need to do a better job of making sure I know about your stuff). Seriously though, if our readers want to post the details of other sessions they think are related and worthy seeing please add them to the comments of this post.

All the sessions are in chronological order and are linked – you can begin the conversation now. We’re not listing rooms as they can change – the simple and best solution is to build your schedule using the Session Scheduler and then download use the app.

But there’s way more than technical presentations going on at Microsoft Ignite.

There are labs - we have two this year. One covering the Exchange Hybrid Agent, room booking and labeling, and the other with an emulated tablet running the Outlook app allowing you to explore conditional access and app protection policies.

There is a booth (I think we call them 'stations' though now) – in fact there are four booths, sorry stations, this year. They are all together in one neighborhood and we have lots of experts you can talk to about Exchange, Outlook, OWA, calendaring, all that good stuff - all in one area.

There’s also - a party. Not just any party. The best and most exclusive party in town. Scheduled Maintenance hosted by ENow Software, a Microsoft Gold Partner. We’re sponsoring it again this year and so if you want to come and hang with all the Exchange and Outlook people we have coming to Microsoft Ignite, you’ll want a ticket. You can request one here, and then you can make a fuss on Twitter to promote your cause and keep your fingers crossed.

Speaking of Twitter – if you want updates throughout the week on our sessions and events, you’ll want to follow me. @gregtaylor_msft Trust me, my opinions are very much my own and Microsoft wants nothing to do with them, officially. Though I will tweet when we publish new blogs, or if I've found some other Exchange related info I think you might like. Or other stuff now and then.

See you in Orlando, and have a great Microsoft Ignite! It’s going to be Bedlam(DL3)!

I assume all times shown are local venue time (Eastern), correct?

@ScottRAX - correct. Sorry for not making that clearer originally.
