Here is an example of a simple dropdown.

Example is in the included excel file.

I would be happy to know if I could help.

Hello @Brian1968 ,

It is very simple to create dropdown list. File is attached with an example for you.

Step 1 Select Cells where you want to create dropdown list
Step 2 Go to Data Tab -> Select Data Validation
Step 3 Select List in Allow Section
Step 4 Select Source Cells

*You can select one cell than expand the list by dragging like any other formula.

I hope it will help you.

Thanks.

@NikolinoDE Thanks for the help, do you know how would i keep the yes reply displayed and only change to no if required

As far as I know, you cannot enter text and a formula in the same cell at the same time.

Can probably only be done via VBA.

If you can use VBA, please send the following information.

Excel version, operating system name and version, an Excel file (without sensitive data),

so as far as possible you can get a suggested solution that suits your needs.

For the next time, with your permission, I recommend that you follow this advice.
