X-axis data is not showing the bound when data are numbers.

@Sergei Baklan

Hello

I can't change the scale of the x- axis while the y- axis is fine.

Both are converted to numbers.

I suspect that the chart at the top in your post is a line chart, while the one at the bottom is a XY scatter chart.

The x-axis of a line chart is categoric, and the x-axis of a XY scatter chart is numeric (scalar).

@Hans Vogelaar

thx for responding
it is the same chart and i made sure it is a line chart
the original file is from excel 2013 and it works there.

@Seja90

Could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?

@Seja90

When I click that link, I get "Unauthorized"...

@Hans Vogelaar

Oh wait sorry

I fixed it.

@Seja90

Thanks, The chart in that workbook is a line chart, so you don't get to change the scale of the x-axis.

If you change it to an XY scatter chart, that will become possible.

See the attached version.

so just the x- axis is can't be changed
In a line chart
Thanks a lot for responding

@Seja90

That is correct. The scale of the value axis (y-axis) can always be changed, but the scale of the x-axis only in a scatter chart.

I see
Also when i read ur first reply idk why i thought it was the other way around sorry about that i was tired
