Working with Dates and Time

I am trying to  concatenate 2 cells into 1. Cell A1 is 21/01/2021 ( format Date dd/mm/yy ) cell B1 is 18:30 (format Time hh:mm) I want to join these into cell C1 in the format dd/mm/yy hh:mm. Can anyone help me with the function / syntax i should use

@DaveM17 You could also use A1+B1 and format the result as Date and Time in the format you want.

Excel stores dates and times as numbers. 21 January 2021 = 44217 and 18:30 = 0.770833333333333 days (18.5 / 24 hrs). Add them together and format as above in D1.
