Hello!
I'm getting this message in Hebrew (translated to English here):
"The source of the list must be a delimited list or a reference to a single line.".
It's about that it must be with a separated list! Why and how?
"על מקור הרשימה להיות רשימה מופרדת או הפניה לשורה יחידה"
And all I need to do is to update this list, which exists on another page.
I updated it with one value, but the list itself wasn't updated (I tried to recreate it also, but it didn't let me, with the same error as above).
I need help about how to update it! And/or how to use as new list in the main sheet.
Please answer,
Thanks for the helpers!

@eladhtn From the looks of it you are trying to set-up a data validation list. That can be done by entering the options in the List box separated by commas or by referencing a range in the worksheet that is either on a single row or column.
From your screenshot I conclude that you referenced a range of merged cells that spans 2 columns. That simply not allowed. Unmerge these cells and then re-sleect the list of options. I guess that this will change the reference to R1C3:R10C3. If you really want to keep the merged cells, manually override the reference that Excel created to span only column 3, rows 1 to 10.

Hello, and I appreciate your reply.
But I'm not sure why the combined cells that span two columns are the source of this problem. It's easier to read the content of the list that way.
How can I manually override the reference that Excel created?
Could you please clarify? Or should someone else?
Thanks,
Elado

@eladhtn Just go in to the conditional formatting window and type the correct reference spanning only one column.
