I frequently work in two spreadsheets simultaneously. I highlight in both. My problem is now that we're using Excel 2013, when I change the highlight color in one spreadsheet, it changes it in the second spreadsheet too. How can I keep these separate?

Highlighting cells. On one worksheet I'm highlighting the cells gray when the item is complete, and the other I'm highlighting yellow. When I select the highlight color on one worksheet window, it changes it on the other window as well. I have to change it every time I go to each worksheet. @Jan Karel Pieterse

@terlynn_1370 Are you by any chance referring to this button (the one with the red box around it):
If yes, then the only way to achieve what you need is by launching a second instance of Excel. In Windows Excel you do so by holding down the Alt key while starting Excel.
