When I change the content of one cell, the contents of other cells change as well.

Example: I change the date in one cell, and the cells below it that had the same date that I changed, change to the new date.

I only want to change one cell. How do I stop that from happening?

I'm not sure if I understood it correctly, as more detailed information is not available...but it could maybe be related.

A possible reason for this behavior is that you have enabled the Auto Fill feature in Excel, which automatically fills the cells below or to the right of the selected cell with the same or sequential values. To disable this feature, you can follow these steps:

• Select the File tab and click on Options.
• In the Excel Options dialog box, click on Advanced in the left pane.
• Under Editing options, uncheck the box next to Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop.
• Click OK to save the changes and close the dialog box.

This should prevent Excel from changing the dates in other cells when you edit one cell.
