Want to copy a cell in its exact format it shows but the data is showing as a long form date

Hello,

I have some data I'm working through thats copied and pasted from an outside source. When being copied and pasted it looks fine in the cell but in the top bar it is showing it as a long form date. I want JUST the way it looks in the cell. Any thoughts? Images below. I want to keep just the 33:12:00 value and do not want the long form date its turning it into. Tried a paste as values but that did not work.

@sethfuller Don't worry about what you see in the formula bar. Excel works with clock time in the background. When you pass 24 hours it become 1 day (24 hours) plus x hrs, y minutes. Nothing you can do about the 1/1/1900 9:12 notation, as that equals day 1 plus 9 hrs and 12 min.
