Hi has any one had a problem with VLOOKUP NOT showing an error?
I want to identify the years associated with unique account numbers. The account number is located in first column and is identified in the lookup formula. It is searching the lookup table organised in ascending order with no duplicates (constant). The fomula is looking for the year for the corresponding row in the fourth column (which should be 2017). However there is an account number in the list which is not in the lookup table so I was expecting an error of some sort but it is also returning 2017?
Any thoughtys would be appreciated.
