I have an excel spreadsheet with two sheets. First sheet has a list of names ( column A) and departments ( column B) , second sheet has a series of columns for salaries etc. However the idea is to put the persons name in one column (C) and the column next to it (B) has =VLOOKUP(C4,Departments!$A$2:$B$102,2,FALSE) formula to look at the previous sheet , and get the department that that name is associated with and enter that department in column B. It has worked fine for the last 5 years and since the update it no longer works and I cannot work out why. Can anyone assist please?
