I kindly ask for urgent attention.
I have a big problem that arises today for the first time
in excel from today since I open my usual file with VBA macro, if from the tab developer I open Macro, it gives me everything in "grays-out" (therefore it does not even make me create macros) and does not list any macros present: however there should be present and listed: then I open visual basic (always from the developer tab) and the macros are present.
The problem also lies in the fact that excel does not allow me to save the file !!!
In this scenario if I save the file with a new name it generates the underlying log and does not make me save the file (which has always been the same for years !!!)
"Damage to the file was so extensive that repairs were not possible. Excel attempted to save your formulas and values, but some data may have been lost or corrupted".
The problem occurred all of a sudden since today
I did all the windows updates and also checked the office updates
