Is it possible to use XLookup where the lookup value is linked data or does it always have to be from the sheet that the data is being posted on.
I have a sheet that is using an employee ID to return a name, because the employee that did the work changes every day the employee ID changes. I have Xlookup setup on sheet 2 and it is working but I am having to manually copy the employee number over each morning before it will work. When I try to link data from sheet 1 to sheet 2 and have Xlookup use the linked data as its lookup value I get an error.
