Unrecognized Syntax

Hello, 

I am reviewing an excel document that was made before my time and making sure that the data is still up to date.
This document uses the syntax:    'METRIC TABLES'.D6       and similar to call information from an unknown source. I was hoping to know where I could find this unknown source. Is it a variable/ an external document/etc?

There is no METRIC TABLES document anywhere on my computer or network so Id imagine it has to be internal information, I just cant seem to find it any

That could be hided sheet. Try right click on any sheet tab and check Unhide.
