I have very wide A-BV (and quite long 3000 lines) spreadsheets, and I am constantly navigating from one side to another.
So I frequently hide 20+ columns to show both ends on one screen.
However, I often then have to access a column in the middle.
When I hide a block of columns, the viewpoint remains the same.
But when I unhide that block, the viewpoint jumps to the top left of the spreadsheet. Then I have to refind the line I am editing. A real pain.
Is there any way I can persuade Excel to keep the same line in view (and preferably highlighted) so the editing position remains in view, when I hide/unhide parts of the spreadsheet?
