Having an issue with one of my users on a brand new HP Laptop
HP 17-BY3613DX
Windows 10 Home edition
2016 with office 365 2016
After first powering up new laptop , all updates completed
After updates , all other apps like word etc. the shift and control keys work for all shortcuts
Seems that a shortcut is not working on excel
From the user :
On excel ,
in Excel where I need to use the SHIFT key to highlight numerous rows of data or using the CTRL key to click on various cells to obtain a sum value Nothing happens as if you are not using any shortcut
Only occurs on excel and in this brand new laptop just set up . Straight from the factory a month ago ( HP ) with no software updates or changes from the HP config .
Any help would be appreciated

After my client could not find a solution , very excel savvy , He decided to send the laptop back to HP .
