Unable to Paste Data

Whenever i try to paste data copied from another worksheet, i get the error message "You can't paste this here because the copy and paste area are not the same size" Please how do i fix this?

Hi

This usually happens when you copy data from CSV file (which can save data in more rows) to Excel file,

What you could do is, save the same file, "Save as" in excel format, and try to open the new file.

@Faith_Elijah The error message occurs when you are copying an entire row (or range of rows) and then try to paste it to a cell that is NOT the first cell of another row. This is similar for columns. So, if you, for instance, want to copy row 1, you can paste it to any cell on any sheet as long as the the destination cell is in column A. Similarly, when you copy the entire column A, you can only paste to a cell on row 1. And if you copy an entire sheet, you can only copy to cell A1.
