Unable to add Slicer

I have a workbook with multiple tabs. Most of the tabs I have a slicer using the data in the table, not pivot tables. One of the worksheets will no longer allow me to add a slicer, even though it was there before. Any ideas? When I select Insert and then Slicer on this tab, the dialogue box doesn't give me the options that the other tabs do. It just shows Connections in this Workbook vs the filter options. Please help! I use Microsoft 365

If you're active in a table, you'll see Table Design appear in the ribbon like this:
