Hi, any advice for unprotecting a worksheet when you can't remember the password you used? Thanks so much!

Assuming it is Excel 2010 or later (not an older xls file type). http://www.excelsupersite.com/how-to-remove-an-excel-spreadsheet-password-in-6-easy-steps/
change the filename extension to .zip open the filename.zip archive with 7zip to see the files in the archive open the xl folder to see the xml files, open the sheet?.xml for the worksheet you want to use edit the xml sheet and search for sheetProtection . remove the sheetprotection between the arrow heads and save if you want to put t back again . save the xml file and close the editor, this should update the archive change the filename back to .xlsx and you should be able to open the file again. this worked ok for me and was straighforward, maybe other zip apps work i dont know but 7 zip worked fine and is free,. hope it works 'robin
